The most harmful wavelengths for sleeping are below 500 nm, which is why we don’t use red lenses since blue light has a wavelength range of 380 to 500 nm. If you wish to filter more than 500nm with 99.9% efficiency, the lens must be darker and redder. There won’t be much, if any, benefit to your sleep, and everything will be excessively red and your eyes will have to strain themselves to see anything, which increases your chance of developing eyestrain.
Contrary to what the majority of clear and yellow lenses claim, they do not filter 99.9% of light. Clear lens block 30% of blue light, where as yellow block about 60% of blue light.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a refund within 30 days of receiving your order, you just have to pay the shipping cost. Please note that the glasses must be in good condition to qualify for a return.

We recommend wearing them 1 to 3 hours before you sleep for best melatonin production. Then take them off as you are ready to close your eyes and sleep! Do not remove the glasses unless there is no light around you. We recommend putting them back on if you wake up to use the bathroom. Do NOT wear driving.
